## The problem it solves

Shared logins, rights granted screen by screen on paper, and no record of who signed in from where make audits impossible and leave the system open.

- Login protection: lock-out after failed attempts, IP restriction, password expiry, inactive-account block, optional e-mail one-time code, a single active session per user enforced live, and idle timeout
